Many areas are also honoring Customer Service Week - which is a great time to re-evaluate the contact lists you might have, the clients you serve, and how their needs might have changed. Perhaps it is time to set up a little waiting area or offer some other perk to your valued customers.

Oct 1st, residents of BC Canada can now take a wide array of small appliances in for recycling. This new recycling program, appropriately titled – Unplugged, is going to help us recycle valuable materials like aluminum and steel, plastics and glass. The program is funded through recycling fees tacked on to new appliance purchases, and the cost-recovery through selling the recyclable materials. Virtually every appliance you can think of from kitchen cupboards and counters to timers and clocks, scales, clothing irons, humidifiers, blow dryers and curling irons, to vacuums and plug in air fresheners… How exciting is that?!

  2. Awesome! A way to let other people know about your recycling activities is to snap a picture of yourself while at work. Here's the application for doing just that. http://youtu.be/qxQn-00Rr7s
