Recommended Resources

This video by a funny, fast-talking and well known radio personality talks about how often in life we willingly ingest something that upsets us and then get all upset about it. Let's all be a little less judgey, a little less critical, a little less privileged and a little more compassionate. :)

https://www.ted.com/talks/alvin_irby_how_to_inspire_every_child_to_be_a_lifelong_reader - while this talk has a slant towards a certain sect of the American population, I totally embraced the ideas that he presents that have the potential to encourage young people to read more.
