This topic is so important and still so many people don't know much about it. <br /><br />I would add that it is important to check even computer "recycling" companies. Don't be afraid to ask hard questions about where your PC will go. Many will try to refurbish all or part of it--this is actually the most environmentally sound thing to do as most an electronics waste comes from the creation of the device.
