Volunteer Opportunities Within Creston Valley
(BC, Canada)

 * Curious about Brummet Media Donations?

Your support of our work is appreciated. To this end, we have donated 10% of Brummet Media Group earnings annually to numerous pet rescue, garden, literacy and wildlife non-profit organizations over the many years we have been in business including:  Canadian Wildlife Federation,  Pollinator Partnership,  North American Butterfly Association,  Seeds of Diversity,  Creston Valley Wildlife Management Fund,  Creston's Pet Adoption And Welfare Society,  Granby Wilderness Society,  SPCA,  and the National Wildlife Federation... among a few other local causes, fundraisers and charitable events, school music and music therapy causes that we have donated product, time, services and art to.

* A big shout out to all the wonderful musicians who continue to share their excess drum and percussion odds-and-ends that have enabled Dave to donate his services to public and private school classrooms! Every wing-nut or old drum head, abused drum shell and the like are refurbished and reused, enabling our efforts to help out local music programs and underprivileged students.

Dave and I were invited to play a role in the Growing Fresh 2021 project... in that the cooking classes will be using From One Small Garden - Over 300 Delicious Nutritious Recipes! The Creston Valley Food Action Coalition also has a booth at the Farmer's Market and we've arranged to do a draw contest for a copy of our cookbook. After that the booth will use our cookbook as a fundraiser for their many many many projects and wonderful work around this beautiful valley.  For more info:

We Love to Celebrate Volunteers !!!

It is obvious to anyone that has seen the Creston Valley (the centre of the Kootenay region of BC, Canada) that there is something very special about the area. That awareness and the very proactive nature of the residents ensure the valley is protected and nurtured.

It is said that 60% of the population here volunteer every single year, some with official non-profits - some in other ways... yet there was no comprehensive list for them to access and explore new opportunities for memorable experiences.

...Thus the long list below for the residents and visitors to enjoy. It does not include churches and schools, who also accept volunteers.

Please do message me if you have the URL's to those I've missed, or other info on local organizations to add to this list.

oh, and - We welcome people to freely share the link to this page on their site, blog or social media page!
