Book Review !!

A big hug of appreciation goes out to Kiki and Gary Towne who rated our Trash Talk - It's Easy To Be Green series as 5.0 out of 5 stars on Amazon.ca (Canada) on Oct 17, 2023.  Thanks guys! We sure appreciate it!!  The book review titled "Cumulative Change" is shared below: "My husband, who grumpily takes up the daily mantle of “recycling police” for our own condo building as well as those of his clients, sees this book as his rule book.  Many of us (unfortunately not all of us) know that modern society must make huge changes in order to alter our dangerous and cumulative trajectory regarding how we as a species fail to properly take care of the planet where we live. If we just wait for big government and big corporations to “do the right thing,” there would likely be little change, even with some political activism.  Although we like the idea (at least in theory) of protecting our home planet for ourselves and future generations, we as a people actually fall deepe...

World of Writing Author Interview

Today's guest submitted a query our way in February via FaceBook Messenger, and we were pleased to feature her in this World of Writing Author Interview .  Deborah Camp is a freelance artist, writer and art educator. She specializes in a medley of visual and written mediums from short stories and poetry to graphic design illustrations and custom murals for a variety of clients.  Her passion for visual art derives from her great-grandfather. He loved to paint the landscapes of his motherland and horses. Her passion for writing stems from her mother’s childhood story writing musings. She became inspired in this artistic environment starting at the age of 3 when she first picked up a paint brush to embark on her own artistic journey. Deborah invites our readers to connect with her via:   https://linktr.ee/deborahcamp Q: Since we are fairly new to each other, why don't we start off with having you tell us a little about yourself and where are you from? A: I was born an...

Financial Literacy

Jullieth Cragwell, outreach coordinator for Annuity.org, requested that we discuss Financial Literacy ,  Financial Abuse  and Financial Infidelity   Financial Literacy begins with completing a Financial Needs Analysis . This is where you list all your monthly bills, seasonal and annual bills. Add in the average budget for menu planning. Add in the vehicle or transportation costs. This tells you what it takes to pay for: food, transport and housing. Nothing extra here - no hair styling, no nail visits, no massage or workout fees. Just your basic financial needs. The bare minimum that you need to survive.  Knowing this can really help you make better decisions when it comes to spending and investing. By investing - I mean: - Buying something according to its durability, quality and the company's impact on the world.  - Invest in quality: you will have to purchase less often and do less maintenance too.  - You might invest in paying off your debt which cl...
