It's time once again for a few more recommended resources... where we celebrate fantastic, proactive endeavors happening all over the planet:
Directory of Social Change:

Graffiti Life Company:
Now I'm a big fan of murals and art in the city. I've seen some
stunningly beautiful art in some cities (like Creston, BC) where one can
wander the streets in awe. Others towns may have only one or two
featured prominently - like Greenwood, Christina Lake and Trail (BC
Canada). Personally I'd love to see much more of this. Artists need to
be encouraged, and this organization encourages graffiti artists. They
inspire through talks and media events ad all the youth and young
artists they work with.

Namaste India Children's Fund: According to their site - "375 million children live in India, more than in any other country in
the world. An estimated 18 million of these children live on the
streets. Some are orphans; some have parents unable or unwilling to care
for them. Often, these children’s daily lives consist of begging and
digging through trash for scraps of food before searching nightly for a
safe place to sleep on the street. Many inevitably turn to crime or
prostitution to survive..." and this organization is dedicated to making a difference for these children.
