Recommended Resources

The Recommended Resources series has been published on this blog since we transferred it from the Brummet's Muse biweekly newsletter that ran for 6 years or so, many years ago. When we closed it down, we decided that we just had to continue this series here on this blog and have been doing so now for nearly 2 decades.

With this series, Dave and I have the pleasure of sharing some great resources which can include

- positive impact organizations and events

- citizen science projects

- helpful articles, amazing resources & exciting interviews

We hope our readers will reach out to thank them for their work, find a way to network with them, share these sites with others or get involved in some way.

Plenty - an Indigenous-led registered charity that shares resources and empowers Indigenous peoples to work with other groups across the globe in support of environmental protection and rehabilitation projects.

Point A - this organization focuses on reducing carbon emissions by increasing alternative transportation within urban settings. They also assist workplaces to reduce pollution and increase productivity. While their projects may vary, their overall their goal is to ease traffic congestion and reduce carbon emissions.

Polar Bear International is the world's leading group that networks with organizations across the planet. Visit the site to learn about their citizen science projects, education and events related to easing the challenges that polar bears currently face.
