-- Steel Recycling --

Steel recycling rates have made the industry very eco-friendly with between 28 and 90 percent recycled content in today’s manufactured steel products. Steel holds the record for the highest recycling rate of all materials currently accepted in recycling waste management systems across the globe.

On top of this the industry has reduced energy consumption by 33% since 1990 and a 45% reduction in greenhouse gas production – very green indeed !
