-- Midsummer's Eve GiveAway Hop Contest --
In a contest that we put on earlier this year we had experienced such a wonderful response to the bookmark packages that we decided to offer bookmarks as a prize for this contest as well.
About the bookmarks:
Green living is important to us, and we practice this concept in every way we can from whom we choose to network with, to the in house supplies we purchase, and extend this into other areas from the publishers, advertisers and the printers we choose to work with. We love the idea of bookmarks - they have enough room to celebrate the beauty that nature brings us with incredible images by award-winning photographer: Dave Brummet. Bookmarks don't often end up in people's junk drawers or recycling bins... they are used, all the time, and by many members of the household.
We chose to have our bookmarks printed on high quality durable paper so that they will last years and years - I have some of the first editions we had printed a decade ago that are still in use. We spent a lot of time researching suppliers to make sure that we could find a producer of quality print products that contain a high percentage of recycled paper and are printed with only veggie inks (some inks - including some of the "soy-based" inks, contain petroleum products). After searching and researching for months we found a fantastic printer - who happened to be located in our very own province of BC (South-Western Canada).
Simply leave a comment on this blog along with your email address to enter the prize draw which will be held on June 25th (in the morning) - leaving lots of time for people to get their entries in. *To protect your email address (from the possibility of spammers and spiders on the Internet) simply do something like this:
ldbrummet (at) yahoo (dot) com
*I'll manually remove the spaces and to replace the stuff in the parentheses with the proper info.
Of course we always appreciate anyone that spreads the word about our work via social networking sites or 'follow' and mark us as 'friends' here on the blog or other social networking sites, or simply post something in their blog or newsletter about our work - but it isn't necessary to do so in order to qualify for entry in this contest. Leave your comment and email address and you're entered :)
The prize includes:
one package of 4 bookmarks and one package of two bookmarks for the runner-up. Winners will receive the bookmarks via mail.
