-- Eco-survey Results --

"MM Research Institute Ltd., a Japanese marketing research company, released the results of a survey on user's attitude toward green action on October 30, 2008, focusing on consumer monitors of goo Research, the national biggest internet questionnaire service company (1,052 people throughout Japan). Each respondent cited one to three company names in response to the survey. Toyota Motor ranked the highest (24 percent) as a company focusing on the green action. Panasonic Corp. was ranked second (8 percent), and a major Japanese retailer, Aeon Co., was third (7 percent)." * Source: Japan for Sustainability Organization's newsletter

... There is a lot going on this week from the London Book Fair Week (UK), Pacific Northwest Booksellers Regional Trade Show events this week and ST. Patrick’s Day (today). In fact being Small Press Month, you are likely going to see an increase of smaller book and writer related events in your community, so be sure to keep an eye on your local newspaper for announcements.

March 20th is the official first day of spring here in Canada, and as such I feel it is time to start up the Positive Eco-News and Sunday Gardening segments of our Conscious Discussions show... Starting in April we will begin scheduling these broadcasts once again. Watch for announcements in our next issue of Brummet's Monthly (our opt-in newsletter).
