New events, positive eco news & intriguing quote

-- Quote of the Day --

"Words so innocent & powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good & evil they become, in the hands of one who knows how to combine them!"
~ Nethaniel Hawthorne

Water the lawn only in the early morning or early evening, and only water once a week – but water deeply… Some regions allow their lawns to go dormant as it would naturally do in the heat of summer. Be sure to mulch those clippings and keep the lawn at 2 1/2 – 3 inches tall.
