Bio Fuel & Business

-- Quote of the Day --

“Leadership depends on the people who report to you – the majority of the people who report to don’t enjoy their job. …75% of workers today fall into two categories: 1) being not engaged at work – and 2) actively not engaged at work. The people in the first category can be identified as clock-watchers. The other group is actively destructive at work; costing 3 billion dollars of lost revenue in the US. …25% of the people like their job, they are excited and creative at work – they have the opportunity to utilize what they love at work. …You have to care about the employee. …95% of happy executives will take a call from a recruiter today, 90% of those executives will leave their your organization in 30 days for an opportunity to contribute more. So you have to provide an environment …that will give them the opportunity to do what they love to do.”

Aichi Prefecture, in central Japan, started producing carbonized biomass fuel on April 2, 2012, utilizing sewage sludge at a facility built in the Kinuura Tobu Sewage Treatment Center

It plans to produce 2,700 tons of carbonized biomass fuel annually for at least the next 20 years.

Incidentally, the biomass market in Japan has grown by over 210% since 2010.
