Today, countries around the world are uniting to bring awareness to hunger afflicting people across the globe.
This
day of awareness has historical roots going back to 1945 but has slowly
gained momentum and most countries are going to be offering events,
symposiums, food bank fundraisers and other events all day long, and
perhaps all week long.
