Making a Difference

-- Quote of the Day --

"Each of us was placed here for a special purpose. I believe that it is each person’s responsibility to determine what he or she can do to make the world a better place – then go out and do it."

~ Ross Perot

 -- Making a Difference --

I would love to have our readers post comments on this blog, or on their favorite social network, about the things they are doing or have done this day to make the world a little better. The "smallest" of things really do add up.

Did you know that recycling one tin can can power your TV for more than 4 hours with the energy that is saved?

Recycling that tin can doesn't seem so small after all, eh?

It is individual action that makes the difference because we are the consumers and voters, we dictate where the future of society will head, what road humanity takes in the journey ahead. Our actions, purchases, votes, where we volunteer, and so on are carefully monitored by the statisticians who make their living informing companies, politicians and others as to where the trends are heading.

So if you make home improvements, recycle, compost, decide to take alternative transportation, decide to purchase a greener product... it all adds up.

But if we share what we are doing we can influence far beyond those that directly witness our actions... we can possibly inspire others to get involved. So let's all share!
