“(re: drumming) People
are looking for fun and easy opportunities to relieve stress – and a drum
circle is a perfect way to connect with people. Every single drum circle is
different; it is always interesting and surprising and gratifying, and being
able to drum out stress - there are so many health benefits to it. …You can
reduce exhaustion job burnout and boost your immune system. …Music therapy is
able to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings,
enhance memory, improve communication and promote physical rehabilitation”
~ Judith Pinkerton

We'd like to take the time here today to celebrate the "Read Books and Protect Forests" project sponsored by Sony Corporation and their efforts toward forest conservation on the island of Sumatra (Indonesia) in partnership with the World Wide Fund for
Nature.
Sony will now also donate part of the revenue from sales of e-books at its
e-book store (Reader Store) to the Read Books and Protect Forests project, supporting activities like: planting 5000 trees in the first year, the Elephant
Patrol program, and strengthening communication. It will also continue efforts for an online library "corner" with more environment-related
e-books at Reader Store.
