Recommended Resources

As many of our regular readers are aware, we love to share conscious living resources and events for you to check out. Today I'd like to recommend 2 fantastic links that are super easy to participate in, and have an impact on the future:

- Have you heard of The National Wildlife Federation Action Fund? It’s a 501 (c)(4) non-profit organization that offers user-friendly ways for those living in the US to take action for things they care about or have concerns for. Currently there is a call to action (http://online.nwf.org/site/R?i=Hii1Z60EqkpZAqRF2hR4WQ) regarding the impact that drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge area, an important region for wildlife.

If you visit the organizations home page: https://online.nwf.org/site/SPageNavigator/ActionCenter  You will find a list of campaigns that people can easily participate with just a click of their mouse and a minute of their time. If you like what you see on the ActionFund page simply bookmark it so you can visit and join any campaign you feel compelled towards.

-  This next link might seem by the title that it has a negative content to it and you may want to skip it… don’t. This offers scientific hope for the future by showing we do have the innovation, educated minds and the local “grass-roots” initiatives have become part of our culture… pushing for positive change. He ran out of time and had to rush through some great examples of what is being done on the positive side to create long term positive change near the end. Do check it out if you have the time.
