Kudos !!
Back in 2008,
Cherry Creek 3 (Denver, Colorado USA) – a home owner association - was spending
42% of the budget on sewage and water bills.
The community decided to embark on
a toilet replacement project with the more efficient dual variety and in just
the first year they were able to replace 425 toilets in their community.
Soon
afterwards, due to increased water-wise awareness the community started
wildlife gardening – transforming both public and private spaces into
water-wise and wildlife friendly areas.
Within just 5
years after the start of all this (the toilet replacement program) they found
the community had seen a drop of 15 million gallons of water use annually. 15
million gallons less water per year!
** Just Fantastic!!! Thank you to all who were involved in this wonderful achievement :)
