Have you heard of 'Therapeutic Riding'? This wonderful therapy helps people through the affectionate relationship with horses and their trainers, increasing balance and focus, lifting spirits, socializing and so much more. Many of the therapeutic riding programs also rescue horses, whose owners can no longer care for them. How about 'agro-forests'? These are initiatives supporting living, biodiverse forests that also support the community. Coconut and brazil nut come to mind immediately but there are numerous others specific to each region. And let's not forget composting - my favourite topic, ever! Check out these resources below when you have time to learn more:

Community Association For Riders With Disabilities focuses on therapeutic horseback riding programs for people seeking physical and cognitive therapies - specializing in disabilities like autism, down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, and others.
