Tryon Canyon includes a highly valued creek, forest and wild areas that are carefully maintained by this non-profit group: Tryon Friends. There, you will find numerous school projects, community events, and even a backyard habitat certification program!

Watershed Alliance serves the South Western Washington (US) area, working to restore natural lands in the region and protect watersheds. They even have a Backyard Habitat Certification program!
