-- Quote of the Day --
“…When I think of ‘love’
I think of the life force for good. Its not just compassion it is also strength,
it is not just acceptance and tolerance it is also accountability and
responsibility; it is patient, but it is also perseverance and diligent and it
is honest. …Whenever we find our sense of worth by something tangible or
another human being, we’re on shaky ground because that can be taken away from
us. Only what is inside can never be taken away. When we are aligned with love,
then we have that no matter the loss.
…Love is always guided by knowledge, and knowledge breeds understanding.
…When we choose to align with love we are naturally in harmony with ourselves,
but also with others and with nature.”

It is time to share some more amazing resources that I hope you'll check out when you have the time. These, in the list below, were actually mentioned during the Sept 20th interview with Keith Sanderson on the Conscious Discussions Talk Radio show.
Change:
A site where you can start or participate in a petition for positive change.
Info: http://change.org
Discover The Depths:
Founded by Deanna LaSusa who became a diver twenty years ago. Since that time, her love for
the ocean and diving has taken her all over the globe and is a recipient of the
First Place award, Environmental Concern in the EPIC (Environmentally
Aware Photographic Competition).
Orphans of the Storm:
This animal shelter is located in Riverwoods
(Deerfield), in north suburban Illinois (since 1938). Orphans takes in, cares for and
finds good and loving adoptive homes for thousands of stray and
abandoned dogs and cats each year.
The Puppy Mill Project:
Focusing on educating the public at community events and
schools handing out literature, spreading the message about puppy mill
cruelty and provides age-based interactive lectures and presentations.
Ninety Nine percent (99%) of all pet store puppies are puppy mill
puppies. Most people are unaware of this. TPMP is changing that fact. By
lessening the demand for these dogs, we will in effect lower the puppy
mills’ profits. TPMP has several programs that are designed to encourage
consumers to explore adoption and to shop at pet stores who have moved
to the “humane model.”
