Green Jobs - Green Technology

-- Quote of the Day --

“The quality of what is on the paper is more important then what kind of paper you choose. …A good cover letter complements the resume offering information on why you are a good fit for that company. …They can address things in the resume such as a gap in employment, volunteering, etc. …Using QR codes allows - takes them to different links that offer a blog that is relevant to their career, their linked in profile, or online portfolio – they are the way of the future, and you stand out …shows that you are up-to-date with the current trends. ”

~ Melanie Denny

Today’s quote originates from the Conscious Discussions Talk Radio episode that aired back on Nov 29… titled: Professional Resumes

-- Green Technology --

A lot of new jobs are being created in what is now dubbed the Green Collar fields. This can include the recycling industry, manufacturing using recycled materials, sustainable forestry management, soil and water managment, agriculture and new green technology... among other eco-friendly alternatives.

Have you heard of Steam Thermoelectric power?

This is yet another form of alternative energy technology that uses low temperature hot water steam such as from natural hot springs to generate electricity. There is a plan in place via Turbo Blade who has partnered with some other companies in building a new power generation plant in the Beppu area of Japan – which is famous for numerous hot springs. This kind of plant reminds me of the geothermal technology which usually takes the warmth from low down in the earth to convert into energy.

Another form of new alternative energy inventions are solar cell windows… windows that actually act like solar panels… how cool is that?!
