Recommended Resources:

As you may know, I love to share resources that inspire, that educate, that may help improve the lives of our readers... and possibly the people, places and environment around them - thereby making the world a little better one post at a time. ...well, I can hope. lol

This first resource is from one of my favorite organizations, they have a lot there and occasionally I find something especially important for our audience here... and here's 2 for you to check out, offering surprising, yet hopeful information on modern-day slavery and sex trade:

"Sunitha Krishnan has dedicated her life to rescuing women and children from sex slavery, a multimilion-dollar global market. In this courageous talk, she tells three powerful stories, as well as her own, and calls for a more humane approach to helping these young victims rebuild their lives."

"Photographer Lisa Kristine travels the world documenting the unbearably harsh realities of modern-day slavery. She shares hauntingly beautiful images — miners in the Congo, bricklayers in Nepal — that illuminate the plight of the 27 million souls enslaved worldwide."
