It is not what happens to you, but how you view it… the stories we tell ourselves about what happened – we could focus and stress and tell ourselves all sorts of stories about how awful or mean or spiteful or greedy or unjust or hurtful something was. Or we can tell a different story. Yep that happened and it sucked – big time. But does it have to become something we hang onto? …and how long will we continue to hurt ourselves day after day, year after year? That event happened an hour ago, a day ago or 10 years ago.
