Kudos !! 

I'm sure most of our readers have heard of the concept of businesses and even entire countries purchasing carbon offset credits. This is done to put a value on the positive improvements others are doing, selling that credit to those who cannot yet make the transition to sustainability. It is a way of encouraging people to make the change and taking responsibilities for their own actions. 

There are many ways to do this however today, I'd like to highlight the carbon credits available through TerraPass.com. They have created credits by choosing to use energy efficient equipment and lighting systems and going as paper-free as possible. The company also utilizes compost and recycle activities, but going beyond that they also reuse shipping and packaging. 

The company's blog offers news and ideas about sustainable living, they plant trees via their partnership with Trees for the Future Foundation and they have made numerous efforts to offer green-living products and services while making every effort to reduce water and resource consumption.
