With these Recommended Resources series I have the pleasure of sharing some great resources which can include - positive impact organizations and events, citizen science projects and links to helpful articles.
Creston Valley Toastmasters Club (4949) is part of the International Toastmasters organization, meeting every Thursday evening.

Trinity Treasures Thrift store sells donated used items and raises thousands of dollars annually for surrounding community organizations, charitable programs. They also provide a fantastic service for those dealing with grief and pending move out dates. People on the run from disasters, tragedy or DM are given special treatment as well. They do a lot for this community - support them by sending them some love :)

Nexus Community Support Society serves several small cities in the Kootenay Region of BC, Canada. Their focus is to embrace diversity and equality, supporting and empowering individuals who are struggling with a variety of challenges.
