One grocery store chain – SuperMax - is attempting to increase Puerto Rico’s national recycling rate (currently very low at 11%) by inviting people to bring in their newspapers, magazines and catalogs where they can deposit them in special kiosks and receive coupons for products sold in the store.  The store has partnered with several non-profits to make this program successful. 

Kudos to yet another business who seizes the opportunity to create positive change!
