Facing Fears & Loving Poetry

-- Quote of the Day --

"The Key to success if for you
To make a habit throughout your life
Of doing the things you fear."
~ Vincent Van Gogh

Hi everyone! I'm back!!! My break from the office went very well - however I did return to over 300 emails and a long list of to-do's on the office schedule! Holidaying from the office for my 3-days-per-month is also a time of holiday'ing from the house... So Dave did the cooking and dishes, and the laundry and other chores got set aside for... well... now, I guess. :) As such, I'm a little behind on virtually everything today! Technical issues prevented us from having the computer and office in working order in time for today's Authors Read radio episode, however I'll work on rescheduling this episode later today. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Butterfly Inspiration

I wished I could mend the broken.

I know your wings are torn.

I wished I knew the words to say.

When you feel very used and worn.

The butterflies will dance again.

In the Spring the sun will shine.

You will see the purpose in life.

Everything someday will be fine.

You have to believe in yourself.

Even when you feel no one else will.

Sometimes people love to destroy.

Drawing you in for the ultimate kill.

Realize to see your self as the light.

Be a beacon, draw them to your flame.

Let them be the moths to your beauty.

When they speak let them say your name.

When you lay your head on the pillow.

Sweet dreams I pray to invade your dreams.

Leaving you feeling refreshed, renewed.

Let your love become what makes you gleam.

Beautiful butterfly pick up your head.

You have the spirit within you to heal your soul.

Mend the tatters and dance again.

The Spring breeze will make you whole.
