"My husband, who grumpily takes up the daily mantle of “recycling police” for our own condo building as well as those of his clients, sees this book as his rule book.
Many of us (unfortunately not all of us) know that modern society must make huge changes in order to alter our dangerous and cumulative trajectory regarding how we as a species fail to properly take care of the planet where we live. If we just wait for big government and big corporations to “do the right thing,” there would likely be little change, even with some political activism.
Although we like the idea (at least in theory) of protecting our home planet for ourselves and future generations, we as a people actually fall deeper into the hole of comfort and convenience.
This series of books help us realize the many small changes that inconvenience us as little as possible, and that, as these small changes of attitude and action spread within society, they can have a cumulative effect."
