Find the Series:  (US) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YC64SB7 (Canada) https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09YC64SB7   “  I came across Trash Talk - Book#1: It’s Easy To Be Green and was immediately impressed by how approachable and empowering the book is. Your central idea that trash is not just waste, but a valuable resource reframes sustainability in a way that feels practical, hopeful, and achievable for everyday readers. What truly stands out is how actionable the content is. The A–Z list of commonly discarded items and the creative ways to repurpose them makes it easy for readers to start making changes right away. Rather than focusing on guilt or extremes, you emphasize conscious choices, saving money, and measurable impact showing that even small efforts can make a meaningful difference over time. Easy Green Living Tips

Easy Green Living Tips The most common mistake we make is not understanding exactly what is going on in our area in regards to waste management, recycling and take-back programs. The best thing to do is once ever couple of months assign a project to a staff member, or a grandchild when they are visiting - to double check and see what has changed in regards to the recycling and take-back programs in our region, because it is changing and improving all the time.  The city will have a website where you can find current programs listed. However, you'll need to dig a little deeper too.  There could be companies that have take-back programs that are not necessarily a part of the city's waste management programs.  Become familiar with your suppliers, retailers that you shop at regularly and learn what they are doing to be more sustainable.  Take the time to get to know your mechanic, friends with workshops, programs happening in the community to find out what they might nee...

Book Review !!

A big hug of appreciation goes out to Kiki and Gary Towne who rated our Trash Talk - It's Easy To Be Green series as 5.0 out of 5 stars on Amazon.ca (Canada) on Oct 17, 2023.  Thanks guys! We sure appreciate it!!  The book review titled "Cumulative Change" is shared below: "My husband, who grumpily takes up the daily mantle of “recycling police” for our own condo building as well as those of his clients, sees this book as his rule book.  Many of us (unfortunately not all of us) know that modern society must make huge changes in order to alter our dangerous and cumulative trajectory regarding how we as a species fail to properly take care of the planet where we live. If we just wait for big government and big corporations to “do the right thing,” there would likely be little change, even with some political activism.  Although we like the idea (at least in theory) of protecting our home planet for ourselves and future generations, we as a people actually fall deepe...

Trash Talk - It's Easy To Be Green 's new cover !!

Announcing a new book cover design... Trash Talk - It's Easy To Be Green  covers a lot of ground from explaining the recycling industry, sharing inspiring information, offering ways to reduce waste via reconsidering, rethinking, recycling, reducing, repurposing and other 'r's. Did you know that people benefit from trash? Well they do, and you can help your community so easily.  Did you know that Dave Brummet is the nephew of Tony Brummet , former environment minister. Cool, eh?  The Trash Talk series was inspired by a column we ran for about 6 years or so and because of this we earned acknowledgements and awards from many environmental organizations including the Recycling Council of BC , and a special letter from the premier of BC for being " community heroes ".  We certainly don't feel like heroes but it was really nice to get those awards.   Find The Series:  (US) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YC64SB7 (USA) (Canada) https://www.amazon.ca/gp/...
