After tracking trash in more than 100 countries, Jeff hopes to use the data he's collected to work with brands and organizations to stop litter before it reaches the ground.

The following was sent to us by Gary Towne about his friend Mike… “I have a possible candidate for your blog ...an old friend of mine, Michael Burke ( in Kelowna, BC - Canada) ...quite a few years ago, I guess 20-25 years ago, long before curb-side recycling was commonplace, Mike, the son of a self-made entrepreneur and thus raised accordingly, had set up his own privately run curb-side recycling program until the city eventually took over a few years later. He also started one of the first printer ink refill places in Kelowna. Now, a few years ago, he has started up a commercial organic waste and even K-cup recycling program in Kelowna.
