This project allowed drivers to replace the rechargable batteries in "about one minute", reducing wasted time (such as at gas stations). The trial project allowed the industry to test out the logistics of changing over to electric power and the financial impact of switching over the entire fleet. Well, it is true that newspapers are a vital communication medium for people to know what is happening in their area.
