Michael Walker-Thomas , was born in 1988 and describes himself as " an educator, author & poet from Philadelphia" (PA, USA). He found his love for writing at a young age by reading Encyclopedia Brown, Magic School Bus and Goosebumps. Michael's writing influences are W.E.B. Du Bois, Carter G. Woodson, Maya Angelou and James Baldwin. Michael also loves the movies Finding Forrester, He Got Game, Super 8 and Inception as writing inspirations.
