-- Product Review --  Vitamin D3 is officially known as cholecalciferol , nicknamed the "sunshine vitamin" since the body naturally produces it when exposed to the sun.   Aside from exposure to sunlight, you can also obtain Vitamin D3 by eating certain foods, such as mushrooms, fish, eggs, and milk products fortified with the vitamin. Vitamin D3 is a crucial nutrient for overall health – especially in areas that have long winter periods, people who use a lot of sunscreen products and those who spend a lot of time indoors.
