Set aside by those most concerned about wildlife habitat preservation and species extinction, this day raises awareness of new scientific information about all reptiles, scientists gather to share information, the Internet is a-buzz with online events, lectures, etc. ...and communities across the planet are hosting a variety of fun filled, informative, inspiring things to do.  More likely than not, your community too has something going on for water health and shore line clean up projects, lizards, turtles, snakes, gecko, alligator and many other organizations.
