-- 2 Great Non-Profits for Veterans & those in Service -- G4U was the created through the efforts of Sharon Kreh.  "Sharrie" is a true believer in supporting our troops.  The service men and women in serve in "harm's way". Certainly, she has a connection to the military: two sons and a daughter in law who graduated from West Point.   G4U began in 2004 with a group of volunteers from Sharrie's community - Innsbrook, MO (USA).  It is the goal of G4U to send "goodie bags" out every month.  Items such as cereal bars, toiletries, snacks, a book, tube socks,  washcloths , magazine, etc. and even a small toy for the soldiers to share with local children.  All of these items are donated, even the hand sewn drawstring bags that are used as the goodie bags.  Since 2005 over 30,000 goodie bags have been mailed.  Money to offset the cost of mailing these items overseas is an ongoing need.   Notes of gratitude from those w...
