seed libraries

Seed Libraries You've probably heard of corner libraries or free book libraries where people build little enclosures, placed in a public place, and these are used for people to freely share used books with anyone who wants to find something to read.   Recently I learned of a similar project for seeds, and I thought it was such a great idea that I had to create this post. In Fernie (BC, Canada) they have seeds available in envelopes or bags, stored inside glass jars. This library requires membership, at a lifetime fee of $10 members gain access to workshops, materials and seeds. Check out the article at:  https://seeds.ca/d/?t=a084e01200004293   Here in Creston we also have a seed saving group:  The Creston Community Seed Bank Society In response to this phenomenal idea, Seeds Of Diversity established a special page on their website discussing the topic and sharing locations where seed libraries currently exist. Find that here:  https://seeds.ca/d/?t=80af8...
