Blog Action Day . In honor of this I have selected this excerpt from the announcement for their latest initiative: " Leaders... are not planning to do enough to to avert the climate crisis. British Columbia has always been a leader in Canada – the 2004 Census found that 37.7 % of waste was diverted in B.C. The largest city in BC, Vancouver reached more than 50 % diversion from the landfill through waste reduction efforts.
