Eco-Events & Depression

-- Quote of the Day -- “… It seems that when you are confronted with the worst, Laughter is very good medicine, it saves one’s spirit. What happens to a lot of people …laughter does seem like the last thing on earth that you want to do. …The sooner you can embrace the adversity and realize that you probably can’t change it; and instead of fearing or becoming depressed – think about what you can do to make each day …as if it were a gift, to find something funny in every day that you live in your life. …Things that are going to be funny to you may not be funny to me. ..humor is a great connector of people .” ~ Christine Clifford Today's quote was excerpted from the Jan 3, 2012 Conscious Discussions Talk Radio sow interview titled: Healing Power of Humor *Access the full interview via: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/consciousdiscussions/2012/01/03/healing-power-of-humor -- Conscious Living Events --  Date : March 10 Seedy Saturday Locatio...

Beyond the Prescription Pad

-- Quote of the Day -- "I can think of no better way of redeeming this tragic world today than love and laughter. Too many of the young have forgotten how to laugh, and too many of the elders have forgotten how to love. Would not our lives be lightened if only we could all learn to laugh more easily at ourselves and love one-another?" ~  Theodore Hesburgh  -- Conscious Discussions Talk Radio --  Cathy Rosenbaum joins us today, sharing her thoughts on how people can be more proactive about their health and the importance of prevention. Just a few moments...

Resources, Laughter & Inspiring Eco-news

-- Quote of the Day --  " Any day is beautiful, When it has been touched By laughter. " ~ Author Unknown I started out pretty awful this morning... not feeling 100% and waking up feeling more tired than when I went to bed, I started the early morning chores - making lunches, doing dishes, taking care of the dogs, and early office work. During these early morning chores it seemed everything I touched hit the ground, at least once. I must have given myself a half-dozen bonks from not watching where I was going or hitting my hand on a partially opened kitchen drawer... *sigh* - But as today's quote states, I found some laughter and it washed all the misery away. My best-loved fur-kids (the dogs) are a sure fire way to inspire a smile and a laugh or two... Especially Skyla - who is such a goof! ...thank goodness for the loving animals in our lives. :) -- Lillian's Referral Corner -- Here are some recommended resources for you to check out when you have some tim...
