Here are some simple tips to help hikers learn how to be better bird watchers and get more out of their time in nature. First of all, it is important to stay quiet and listen (unless you are in an area that is heavily used by bears). Birds are always talking and listening. Whole of Nature In Its Beauty

--  Quote of the Day --  “ Conscious living means being aware why we think as we do and how our thoughts shape our actions. It concerns of being self-aware that aspects of human psychology that makes us vulnerable to advertising and the media. …Albert Einstein once said that human beings are part of a whole called the universe– he who experiences himself …as something separate of the rest is a kind of delusion, a kind of prison, that restricts us to our personal desires and our task is to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. …I’ve been really involved in environmental issues and have been hopeful that I could raise awareness. …When you continually try to have an effect on society, and do things that you believe are for the good for everyone and you don’t see any effect it can be depressing or frustrating. For me I push my wheelchair up the trails ...

Product Review

-- Product Review -- Michael McClune of Café Viva Probiotic Coffee (www.probioticcoffee.com 1-567-laktera ) invited me to be a part of their product launch on Oct 28, and being a coffee lover – how could I refuse? He sent me seven samples of their instant coffee beverage line by Oct 29 th and the package arrived on Nov 8 th in the mail – in a padded yellow envelope. At only 80 calories per serving this drink can actually satisfy hunger because of the additional nutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, glucose, etc.) while providing energy – as such this could be considered a potential weight control tool. Optimal benefit comes through consuming the product daily (once per day); the benefits from the prebiotic and probiotic blend will take 4-7 days to materialize depending on the individual's gut health. Interestingly this product can be added to yogurt, shakes, smoothies, served cold with ice, or mixed in with ice cream. I was glad to...
