Dave and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Legend of Gobi on Prime .. . a fantastic adventure of Mongolian Khan's tyrannical control of others, going as far as banning music. The people fought back and this is the story of music changing the course of war and conflict. The closing statement to the movie flowed like poetry and has a powerful statement about music... so I would like to share this excerpt from the movie with you below. Exile on Main Street  *Written by Eoghan M. Lyng - a culture writer whose music pieces can be read in Record Collector, We Are Cult and Culture Sonar and whose film pieces can be read at Letterboxd, Taste of Cinema, The Playlist and The Irish Post.
