-- Product Review --  I was thrilled when Melody of Green Pharmaceuticals Inc . invited me to do a review on their Snore-Stop product ( http://www.snorestop.com ) – this is a non-drowsy and non-addictive, safe homeopathic method for dealing with snoring issues. Delivery would normally take only 5-7 days within the US, but sent from the California office to here in South-Western BC, Canada it took more like 13 days (including weekends: sent out on June 20, arrived on July 3 rd ), which is a standard shipping time. I first learned of Daisy Natural Skin Care back on the 22 nd of March when the owner, Jean Marie Pizzariella invited us to do a review of some of her products. Just 11 days after confirming our interest we found the box in our mail, which was pretty fast considering crossing the US/Canada border. As an eco-conscious consumer, one of the first things I look at is the packaging. Daisy Natural has a wonderful packaging system – the products arrived in a light-weight, small cardboard box of 100% post consumer recycled content, with crumbled brown paper bags for cushioning, and light paper bag to hold several products together. The products had a minimal amount of shrink plastic to ensure the seal kept well during shipping; the plastic was perforated for easy removal – and all containers were recyclable. -- Product Review --  When Sean Harris connected with me about reviewing his Handi Hanger product (http://www.handihanger.com), I was immediately intrigued by it. As our readers are already aware, I am passionate about steps to zero waste and reuse is a huge part of this.   The Handi Hanger arrived only 19 days after communicating with Sean about this project in a small, protected envelope. I loved that there was hardly any packaging associated with the shipping, and what little there was, could be recycled. Similarly the product itself utilizes minimum packaging - a thin cardboard backing with a small amount of shrink plastic holding it in place. Thankfully both these are recyclable as well. The Original HandiHanger is an earth friendly, money saving device that allows us to recycle plastic shopping bags.  Depending on how the product is used this can also mean we can save on wasting money spent on new garbage bags.  ...
