Healing Sorrow; Experiencing Joy

-- Quote of the Day --  “To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy not respectable, and wealthy not rich, to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly… to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages with an open heart, to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never – in a word… to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common – this is to be my symphony.” ~ William Channing -- Conscious Discussions Talk Radio --  * Airs live @ 10-11 AM (Pacifc)  - all episodes are archived indefinitely within moments after they air live, and are available for you to listen to later on at any time of day. Consciousness & Peace

-- Quote of the Day --  "I believe a man is born first unto himself for the happy developing of himself - The world is a nursery and the pretty things are to be snatched for, and pleasant things tasted. Some people seem to exist thus right to the end.  But most are born again upon entering manhood;  they are born to 'humanity' - to a consciousness of all the laughing, and the never ceasing murmur of pain and sorrow that comes from the multitudes." ~ DH Lawrence -- Conscious Discussions Talk Radio -- Violence in society, anger in the classroom, bullying in the fields... Thank you all for the incredible out-pouring of condolences and well-wishes during this time of family tragedy. We have been so moved by your kind and thoughtful letters, emails and messages. The family is doing better, handling this difficult issue very well despite the raw emotions - and we, Dave and I, hope to be back in the office for you all by Jan 11th. In the meantime I'm trying to keep up with the emails as I have time, please allow me time to get to your messages while I play catch-up in the office thru to the middle of January. Well, I'm 40 now... the big FOUR-O - which has me feeling a little differently, that is for sure. all the birthdays ending in O tend to have a big impact on me... the others not so much. :) Well, I've got to rush off again - appointments and duties call - I will, however, be back in the office almost daily now and will be back to normal by Jan 15th. In sincere appreciation, Lillian Find Dave & Lillian Brummet, excerpts from their book...
