-- Recommended Resources --  March 26th already... whew, time has flown this year. The land around us is greening up nicely, gardens are being planted and dogs are feeling frisky, wanting to play and romp and get good and dirty. lol There is nothing like spring.  Today, I'd like to focus on resources that fall in the category of respecting nature. Boetcker --  Species at Risk -- According to the Canadian Wildlife Federation – in existence since 1962 – over 600 Canadian animals are listed at risk, including the woodland caribou, monarch butterfly, polar bear and killer whale – The International Union for the Conservation of Nature estimates the world’s extinction rates are between 1000 and 10,000 times greater than what normally occurs naturally.     Simple things from conscious consumerism to donations to wonderful organizations like these, to backyard and balcony or roof top gardens can have a profound impact on the decline of wild things in the forest, in the air, and in the sea.
