World Water Day  World Water Day was set aside by the UN to highlight the importance of clean fresh water. Events focus on water conservation, education, sustainable projects for the management of fresh water resources, beach clean up projects and river-side replanting projects, and invasive species volunteer groups heading out to eradicate unwanted plants that will choke out native species. The first World Water Day was officially held in 1993 and is now celebrated across the planet. Consider picking up a copy of our Trash Talk book series which addresses many ways of conserving the amount of water we use, reusing old water and reducing water use.
