Of Destiny and Compost

-- Quote of the Day --   “ Mentors can cut your learning curve in half by telling you the shortcuts. ...If anyone is going to make a career change of any kind you have to do the inner work to know what your purpose is first …because then everything falls into place so much easier. …What I see that stops people from achieving their destiny is: they chase opportunity verses creating their purpose. …All life is an adventure and being open to what comes is key – it is a form of enlightenment to welcome with gratitude what comes. …It is happening for a reason and you many not realize why you took that detour but there are things you are picking up along the way that build and strengthen you into the person you are destined to become .” ~ Michelle Casto Today's quote was excerpted from a discussion on the Conscious Discussions Talk Radio show recently -  Show Title: Live Your Destiny Access the full archived episode via: http://ww...

Fuel-less Car

-- Quote of the Day --  "There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will."  ~ Epictetus  -- no electricity…no fossil fuels – but drive your car anyway!-- Toyota Industries Corp ., one of the Toyota Group companies, announced that the members of " Yume no Kuruma Kobo ," or " Dream Car Factory, " have developed a compressed air-powered car. This design looks like a funky three-wheeled eco-car, but does not require fossil fuels or electricity to run.  It is interesting to note that the members of the Dream Car Factory are all volunteers who join to create and brainstorm about alternative vehicles. Managing Contacts

* Here's an article I wrote some time ago about how to manage contact lists effectively. I thought you might enjoy reading it here today: -- Managing Contacts -- Developing a strong networking system with reliable contacts is the key to any marketing plan – yet one of the most difficult and time consuming tasks that an author will face. While it is true that a contact list can take years to develop, if done correctly you will have a team of individuals across the globe who are hungry for news about you and who volunteer to share information about your work through their circles. How does one go about creating a contact list? First you must decide whom you wish to work with and that requires much thought on key words to use in your searches and feeling out the industry to see where your work fits in. Once you have these initial steps done, you can begin approaching people that have a similar audience. But don’t just start sending query ...

Green Energy

-- Quote of the Day -- “…Wind is very special; for the 21 st century we are going to have to have different kinds of renewable energy. …Wind is a force of nature; it is completely renewable, it is potentially available 24/7 - 365 days a year. …Many governments are recognizing the important contributions of wind as a source of providing all our energy needs. It is a possible dominate provider of meeting all of our energy needs. …There are 3 reasons why this is possible – #1: We have huge inefficiencies in how energy is being provided, as high as 70% of the energy is lost (in transportation) before you finally get it. #2: We need greater conservation, a huge amount of waste by the consumer. …#3: is to encourage the adaptation of these new technologies so that they become mainstream.”   ~ Sharolyn Vettese of Wind Simplicity  * Access the full discussion via: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/consciousdiscussions/2011/12/01/wind-power Find Dave an...
