How To Go Green Around Your House By Dr. Ashraf Hanafy Mahmoud Mohammed Many people want to go green, in the face of such clear and deadly climate change. However, they are not particularly sure how. Though you may recognize how important going green is to help future generations, you may think you cannot do much to help. However, every small step you take to combat climate change helps. Writing, Social Networking & Nature

-- Quote of the Day --  I had the chance to read David Thoreau's book - Walden or Walden's Pond (I think it was published under a few other titles as well) and came across this quote I'm sharing below where he shares his passion for nature. I found his writing style so very poetic, so descriptive, and jealously devoured every chapter of his book. I'd not had the chance to experience his writing before and while sometimes difficult to read, it was a sincere pleasure to say the least.    “Sometimes I rambled to pine groves, standing like temples or like fleets at see, full-rigged, with wavy boughs and rippling with light – so soft and green and shady, that the Druids would have forsaken their oaks to worship in them; or to the cedar wood… where the trees, covered with hoary blueberries, spiring higher and higher are fit to stand before Valhalla, and the creeping juniper...

Alternative BioFuels and Rainforest news

-- Quote of the Day --  “Rainforests are very unique in that they are very diverse – you may find in a mid-western forest a 15-20 tree species in a couple of acres, but in a rainforest you will find 4-500 distinct tree species. …Rainforests cover about 2% of the surface on the planet but they may have in those forests 50-60% of the species on the planet. They circle both sides of the equator. They are parallel to most of the corral reefs on the planet, so if you have a situation where the rainforests are being removed and loose the filtration they do, you may find that the corral reefs along the equator (which is where most of the species in the ocean come from the corral reefs) may start to disappear as well. …They are coupled together so if you lose one, you lose the other. …There are so many species yet undiscovered. …It is about overcoming and embracing the challenge – not to shy aw...

Book Review, Business tips

-- Quote of the Day --  “{Relationships} Event plus your response to it will deliver the outcome. There are certain events that we have no control over, what we do have control over is our response. So if you want a different outcome you have to change your response. You are never going to change a person or situation, but you can choose your response to those events and get a different outcome. …It is up to you, you have more control than you realize – you control it all.” ~ Robin Jay Today’s quote originates from the Conscious Discussions Talk Radio episode that aired back on January 8th… titled: Building and MaintainingBusiness Relationships   (*Click on the title to access the full discussion)   -- Book Review --  We received a lovely little review on the first book in our trash talk series… and I wanted to share this with you today: Author: Darcia Helle   ...
