Consciously Living a Positive Life

-- Quote of the Day --  “In terms of interconnections, a dominant theme in all Native American cultures is that of relationship, or a series of relationships that are always reaching further and further out; relationships within the immediate family reaching out to the extended family, to the band, outward again to the clan, to the tribal group; and relationships do not stop there but extend out to embrace and relate to the environment: to the animals, to the plants, and to the clouds, the elements, the heavens, the stars; and ultimately those relationships that people express and live, extend to embrace the entire universe. “ —Joseph Epes Brown    -- Conscious Discussions Talk Radio -- *I am ill and will not be able to host the radio show today... thank you for understanding.  -- Quote of the Day -- “Reading – we all know that reading is important, it is a critical good habit… 88% of the wealthy in my study, they read 30 min or more each day of self-help, self-improvement, career related material; compare that to 2% of the poor. …The wealthy people their lives are all about continuous self improvement, so they read – they read 2 or more education books a month, so 24 books a year at a minimum. Poor people don’t do this – if they do read they read for entertainment. …79% of the wealthy network 5 hours or more per month verses 16% for the poor. …The habits that we pick up in life, 40% of the day is habit, so you are on auto pilot – if your parents did not teach you success habits, then 40% of the time you are on autopilot living poverty habits and life is bad. …66% of the wealthy watch 1 hour or less of TV per day; verses the average individual watching 6 hours of TV per day. …Even if you shaved off one hour and used it for reading, conver...

Product Review

-- Choose To Be Nice --  When I first heard of ChooseTo Be Nice , I was thrilled with their concept – how one person can spark a positive change with small steps, such as choosing to wear proactive clothing. We see people walk around with clothing that advertises all kinds of company logos, or cute, humorous or cutting remarks and imagery… well Choose To Be Nice took this concept to another level.  Simply put, this is a movement that inspires and encourages kindness. According to marketing director Dina Creiger : “ When we slow down and recognize what is nice in ourselves we influence others to do the same. Our goal is to build a community of nice people online who will share what they do on a daily basis to be nice. To kick-start the movement, Choose To Be Nice has created t-shirts with the Choose To Be Nice logo. T-shirts are high quality; made by American Apparel. Ten percent of all sales will go to non-profit organizations whose values align with Choose To B...

Product Review

-- Stunner of the Month --  Eva – of Stunnerofthemonth.com – first made contact regarding taking on a review project for their subscription based sunglasses service back on July 4 th , and because I have a real addiction to sunglasses (lol) – I jumped on board with this. By July 10 th they had signed me up for what I thought was a 1-month subscription ended up being a 3-month bout. The service sent an email notice on August 17 th notifying me that the subscription was going to expire in 2 months and offered easy instructions to renew along with a discount if I chose to renew.  This showed me how organized and thorough they are with follow up skills and I was impressed by the easy, seamless continuation of services they offer their members. The concept of this business is to send a new pair of sunglasses to their clients every month – arriving in their mailbox or doorstep, depending on the delivery available in their region. They have a wonder...
