-- Healthy Dark Chocolate -- Who wouldn’t be intrigued and excited about reviewing a healthy dark chocolate (yum) that can help with weight loss? My first discussions about this review project with Jan Hrkach (CEO of True Healthy Products LLC – http://TrueHealthyProducts.com ) began on December 6 th and after some discussion, I was notified that the product was shipped out on December 10 th 2013. Product arrived here in South-Eastern BC (Canada) on Dec 20 th in a plastic envelope (recyclable) and a foil bubble envelope inside that along with a reusable cold-gel pack to prevent the chocolate from melting during shipping. I have to say that great care was put in the packaging for their product. They also took the time to include the Simple Chocolate Diet Guide (retail value $120 US), which held menu planning and great information for the nutrition novice. The 3 hosts, Kimmie, Lorne and Nasima (sp?) asked me questions about zero waste, how gardening plays a role in zero waste... and we focused mainly on biodynamic gardening techniques. We touched on a lot of aspects from ancient gardening, moon gardening, amendments like green sand, kelp meal, compost and glacial rock dust, as well as organic garden applications of diatemacious earth and neem oil. We also covered (briefly) the first r's of zero waste (rethink, reconsider, rent, repair and refuse) but didn't have time to talk about the others (reduce, repurpose, recycle, rot). -- Natural Pet Product --  I originally connected with Rick Jahnke for this project, but it was Mike Fried who arranged for me to review DPG forPets a natural supplement for dogs and cats, and he sent me a quick email letting me know the product was shipped out on Oct. 4 th – they arrived on Dec. 6 th in a p added yellow envelope, sent from New York (US). I received 2 green glass bottles that are closed with white plastic flip top caps. The safety seal came in the form of a soft plastic loop that peels off really easy, and under cap lies another safety seal lightly glued to the top of the glass bottle. The bottles contain 60 tablets that are smaller than a dime in size and the bottle seems to have a 2-year shelf life.
