-- Positive News --  * wonderful news re: rainwater collection - from  Japanfs.org "On March 10, 2015, the Cabinet of Japan approved the wider usage of rainwater harvesting systems in newly constructed buildings by the state government or incorporated administrative agencies, aiming for a 100% installation rate. The decision was made based on the Act to Advance the Utilization of Rainwater (Rainwater Act, promulgated on April 2, 2014). This Act aims to effectively utilize water resources by pooling rainwater and using it for various purposes, including toilet flushing, sprinklers and fire suppression, and consequently, to control intensive rainwater runoff into sewage or rivers. Under this goal, the state government and incorporated administrative agencies are required to install a rainwater harvesting system as a general rule, if there is usable space in new buildings to be constructed. Such systems include reservoirs, general service water tan...

-- Product Review -- Ashley S. from Urbnfit.com connected with me on April 24 th regarding getting a review of one of their products, it was ordered by April 29 th , and we had the Long Exercise Bands (5 feet in length, 6 inches wide) in our hands on May 9th. The package includes 3 different grades of color coded bands made from high quality latex rubber: light (yellow), medium (blue), and   hard (red) – along with a single door anchor mechanism to allow for more versatility in exercises. Each part of the package was individually wrapped in clear plastic envelopes – which were recyclable. However they reeked of new rubber smell for several days, though the scent diminished after a week or so in the open the scent still remained. These bands do not come with handles like most other brands offer, so you’ll probably want to tie a knot on each end to allow for better gripping and reduce injury. The package also included a simple diagram offering a few exam...

-- Poetry --  Well, it is time to share some of our original published poetry. The first will be an excerpt of Towards Understanding and the 2nd will be excerpted from our 2nd book of poetry - Rhythm and Rhyme  Love Of A Many Face Love of a many face,  I shy from your disgrace. Love of a many hill, I won't let go of my will. Tumbling, falling Just tired of stallingl Can't let it fade away, Yet won't allow myself to beg. My heart means so much more. Yes, I step harder... than before. Why jump blinded, headfirst Into the never ending thirst? Slowly, I watch and sigh. Silently I smother my cries. Trying to hold onto - what - I don't know. But never, no never, let it show. My eyes see danger up ahead. Threatening to leave my heart stone dead. Tonight, I caress my greatest fear.  To love you always, and hold you near. © Lillian Brummet Towards Understanding    Living Disease There are to...
