Using Youtube In Your Music Career: *Written by Gabe Shillinger, who invites you to "c heck out my YouTube -  http://youtube.com/thisisthelegion  or  http://legionbeats.com  for beats, hooks, mixing and mastering." YouTube has been a HUGE promotion tool for millions of artists and if you're not taking advantage of it, you're definitely missing out. YouTube is the 3rd biggest website it in the world (behind Google and Facebook) and it has become arguably the #1 way to listen to, discover and share music. The idea of consumers "owning" music is fading and being replaced by streaming services like Spotify, Pandora and especially YouTube. Convenience and cost are huge part of that shift, but "shareability" is also a huge factor. When we used to consume music solely through terrestrial radio, TV and physical media like CDs, it was really hard to share that music. The first thing people are encouraged to do on the individual and home based level is to conserve. Most of us know that there are numerous programs, grants and financial incentives available that encourage people who can afford to upgrade appliances, various home and business machines, and arrange for eco-upgrades to buildings. Improved and more inclusive recycling programs are expected to accelerate – growing better programs, more efficient collection processes, better service to clients, more regular pick-ups including apartments, old age ho...

Quote of the Day

-- Quote of the Day --  ©BrummetMedia.ca "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking  so that other people won't feel insecure around you.  …And as we let our own light shine,  we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear,  our presence automatically liberates others."  ~ Marianne Williamson:  A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles , 1992  http://www.facebook.com/lillian.brummet   http://www.linkedin.com/in/...
